This morning, on the way to work I stopped off at Taco Bell and got 2 dimes. Then after I got home from work, I found a dime in our apartment parking lot.
On the way home, I stopped off at Kroger, and found no coins in the Coinstar machine, but I did find a bottle cap. If I were Chris, this is where I would say "Sadly, this does not count for the day's total, but it will go into my Not change cup." But, alas, I'm not Chris, and I don't have a Not change cup, and I didn't even pick up the bottle cap.

Bottle caps would not be deposited into the Not Change Cup. Only exciting things like marbles, foreign coins, religious medals, and the like.
