This morning I found a 10 cent coin from Mexico at Wendy's. I picked it up to check it out, but left it at Wendy's, because unlike Chris I don't have a not-change cup. Which is to bad, because I found a domino yesterday in the grass outside of work.
I was able to find some U.S. currency. At Arby's I found 1 penny, and in the bathroom at work I found a dime.
But today is not a day about me or my finds. Today is about Brian and recognizing the fact that he broke $500 in his Change Quest yesterday. He found a dime yesterday which put him over the top.
Congrats Brian! Let us know how the air is up there on top of the coin mountain. I someday hope to join you in the 500 dollar club!
After this post, Chris and I met up at Sonic to exchange some stuff. I was able to beat him there and found a dime and 2 pennies. On the drive back home, I found a penny at Hartz and a quarter at Chick-Fil-A.
Total for the Day - $0.49
Total for the Race - $23.18

but no nickel and no cycle. Keep your head up (and your eyes).
Chris
Thanks, Bailey, for the nice write-up. I'm feeling pretty good now that I've reached the $500 plateau. I hope to see you and Chris up here soon! Heck, Chris might get there tom'w.
You have no idea how jealous I am of your Sonic. I've only been once (in Tennessee), but I'll think of it always.
Note to Sonic: Come to NJ!
Liza,
So nice to finally get a comment from Mrs. $500. (I'm assuming that you are the Liza from Brian's Change Quest).
Before Texas, I lived in Indiana, and we did not have Sonic. We had Dog & Suds, which while it had great frosty mug root beer, didn't have all Sonic has to offer.
I feel for you, living without the Sonic. I hope they get to NJ in the next few years. It would be a great place for the family to go and eat and for Brian to do some change searching!
