This evening after the 6 hour Astros game, I went to Randall's to do some grocery shopping while Marti chilled at home. After I got all the stuff we needed for the upcoming week, I got up to the check-out lane, and their ENTIRE computer system shut down. After waiting for 20 minutes for it to re-start, I abandoned the cart full of groceries and went and did the same thing at Kroger. The only difference was that their computer system was up and running and I was able to find 2 pennies near the check-out counter and 1 near the Coke Vending Machine. So overall it was a 2 hour trip to get some groceries!

Day 239
On the way back from poker this morning, Marci and I made a quick stop at Starbucks where I found 1 quarter, 4 pennies and 1 coin that orginally looked like a dime, but I think is part of a necklace or something.

Wow, extra innings on the Astros game and grocery shopping. What are the chances of that happening in the same day. You should check that with the Elias Sports Bureau!
