While I am not ashamed of the Change Race, I have not shared it with all my friends and family. It is hard to explain it without looking a bit nutty. So even though my Dad is in town, he knows nothing of the change race.
I pick up Dad to get some breakfast. After we picked up breakfast his exact words were, "Well today is my lucky day, I just found a head's up quarter next to your truck." You have got to be kidding me? A quarter? I couldn't believe it! Why couldn't it just be a penny? I felt like he was throwing it in my face!
I did find 1 penny near the dumpster while taking out the trash. I was planning a change run, but I fell asleep on the couch in the evening.
