While at work, I did find a quarter in the hallway. I also found a nickel on the way out the door. Then while picking up ribs for dinner at Kroger, I found a dime in the aisle. This put me a penny away from the natural change cycle. Since the other finds had been natural, I couldn't go searching for the penny. I ended up finding the penny at the dumpster while taking out the trash.
I'm not 100% sure, but I believe that this is the first Natural Change Cycle of the Race, something Chris hasn't done. I say natural, because I found the coins without going out of my way to search for change, be it a car wash, parking lot or drive thru. It might be hard to do again, because you can't search for it, or else it is not natural. You have to let it come to you.
This is also my 5th Cycle for the month, a new record. Plus I started the month on May 1st with a Cycle and ended the month with a Cycle!
Total for the Day - $0.41
Total for the Race - $26.26
-------------------------------
Totals for May 2005
Total - $8.06
Quarters - 12
Dimes - 28
Nickels - 10
Pennies - 176
Change Cycles - 5
Dollar Days - 2
Highest Daily Find - $1.40
Lowest Daily Find - $0.01
Average Daily Total - $0.26
Now a new feature to the monthly recap. Every month you can see an updated picture of the plastic container where I put my change.

Wow, I almost found more this month than you have found for the entire race. And, your poor jar looks so empty compared to mine. That said, congrats on the natural change cycle. I'll have to make a point to have three of them tomorrow.
Chris
Does my jar look empty compared to yours?
Why don't you post some pictures of it, if you are so proud?
gratz to y'all but I keep seeing change and getting all excited an realise i am not IN the change race lol
ETW,
Good to hear from you! It's been to long since you've come into the change race world!
With the way I've been doing, you might as well post your totals, and you might get second place!
